Richard Knight
Richard Knight is a professional artist working from Wimbledon Art Studios where he has been based for the past eighteen years. His urban landscapes in a ‘classic modernist’ style have been popular for many years and he is shown by several galleries in London and beyond.
His childhood love of drawing the Supermarine Spitfire was reignited having visited the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain at Biggin Hill, inspired by the planes sheer beauty of shape and form to paint Spitfires in his own style.
From his first Spitfire sale at Battersea Art Fair he has found an audience, from old to young and gone on to create a series of popular aircraft paintings.
